Come On Irene...!
I am posting this for all of you who have shown us concern and love. Right now, there is heavy rain in our little corner of NY and my First Responder is home for a change. Roc's cousin Carlo was ordered to evacuate from where he lives on Long Island and is currently spending time riding out the storm at my in-laws. We are armed with candles, police tactical flashlights, (some of which are charged...some not so much...) and wine. We also have a few cases of water, which will come in handy if the wine runs out.

my prayers are with you all. The storm just passed us here in Virginia Beach, it wasnt too bad where I was, my power only flickered a bit. Mostly just branches falling from trees. Stay safe
