A Great Time Had By All

Once again, yesterday's Columbus Day Parade in NYC was a great time had by all. Although the ranks were filled with Italian-American Officers, people of every nationality were invited to come and share in the fun, food, and festivities.
The NYPD also extends an invite to nearby towns and municipalities, as we met fellow (Italian) Police Officers from New Jersey, Connecticut, and even a few from not-so-nearby Italy.
Yesterday's special guest was the actor Danny Aiello. Although he's probably best known for Moonstruck, I will tell you about a gem of a film that he did years back called Once Around. If you have a warm day on the couch once the cold settles in, rent it. It's a great story.
