As many of you have probably already heard, the Grand Jury in NYC chose to not indict the Police Officer in the Eric Garner incident.
And the NYPD stands at the ready, waiting to see if violence erupts here the way it did in Ferguson.
That would include my husband, who has already been on duty for thirteen or more hours and will probably not be coming home tonight.
So as our ridiculous mayor (intentionally not capitalized) stands there and pontificates about what a "painful" day it is for our City, I will sit here with a hot cup of tea, praying for my husband's safe return.
Seems right, doesn't it?
