A tip of the hat to the NYPD's PBA.
We just got our new PBA cards for 2011, and they are a beautiful tribute to those who perished on September 11, 2001.
A lot of times, the PBA is silent on matters that matter...but I gotta give credit where credit is due; we will never forget, and we need to honor those individuals who lost their lives...in 2011, for the ten-year anniversary...and beyond.
I can't believe it's almost ten years.
Seems like yesterday.
I can't believe it's Veteran's Day.
So many people won't remember...
I can't believe that Thanksgiving is two weeks away!
Seems like I was just cooking the bird...
I can't believe that Christmas is around the corner...
Seems like time shuffles by and the world turns faster every year.

Ditto! It really seems like time is just flying by. For most things it really feels like "it was just yesterday". It's weird that I am starting to be able to put substantial numbers in front of events like, "10 years ago when I was finishing college. . . " Really?! That was just the other day!

ReplyDeleteWhere has 2010 gone? Can't wait for Christmas, though. Our little ones are 2 and 3 and so this will be the first year we really get to see the "magic" happen.
