A day in the life of a Cop's Wife goes a little something like this:
He's got court.
I've got class.
Drop the dog off at the groomer, teach a class, take a shower, drive a co-worker home, go to the supermarket, do some errands, get the dog, text from Roc.
Court today.
Dinner tonight.
Comfort food? He says yes. It's rainy and dreary in the Northeast again.
Blogging, running, folding the laundry, clients, another class, and then finally home to each other.
A big bowl of pasta, a whole wheat ciabatta, a red wine for him, a white for me.
Dinner together.
Decadence.
It's one of those days where it's not so bad.
I'll take it.

Comfort food makes the world feel right... no matter how my day has been, a nice bowl of pasta makes me smile from the inside out :)
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend!
Sounds about right! Mostly it seems like both T-rex and I are going 100 mph in different directions only to crash in the middle. Got to love it!
