Nice Timing

As the Occupy Wall Street Protesters up the ante, and thereby their antics, today...I find myself happy because Roc has the day off work.
"The protesters are calling for a massive event aimed at disrupting major parts of the city today," Deputy Mayor Howard Wolfson said. "We will be prepared for that."
Roc, by the way, is fine. He said he talked to a garbage man the other night down by the protests and the guy said that he has never in his entire life of being a "G-man" dealt with such filth. One of the cops that Roc was with asked, "The garbage or the people?"

The timing is right for a home-cooked meal, a glass of wine, and letting the whole world slip away. I want a few moments before the Holiday Crush; just me, Hubby, and Puppy Girl. And perhaps some dessert.
