Can't Get Rid of the Boss

New Yorkers really love Raymond Kelly as their police commissioner — and nearly half hope he runs for mayor next year.
Kelly’s job approval rating is an impressive 77%, while his 63% favorability rating among city voters is by far the highest of anyone considering a mayoral run next year, a new poll commissioned by the Daily News shows.

Here's the deal: if Ray Kelly runs for Mayor of the City of New York, he will still be my husband's boss.
And I think that different cops would have different opinions about his stepping into this role; plus I think that this poll would be greatly skewed depending on where people were polled...my gut instinct is that people living in Murray Hill would welcome Ray Kelly as Mayor, while people who reside in SoB...maybe not so much.
As with all things, time will tell.
