As One World Trade Center reached the historic height of 1,271 feet yesterday, it eclipsed the Empire State Building as New York City's tallest building.
Again.
It's a nice milestone; it feels good...so good that the Empire State tipped its hat to its taller cousin by lighting itself in red, white, and blue for the night. I was too far away to see it in person last night, but I smiled to myself as it lit up my television screen. Every little victory is a good thing.
