Sometimes I wait up for Roc, and sometimes he comes home with a funny story, something someone said that is just so outrageous that you can't get over it.
In his precinct, it's usually an EDP---on or off their meds---that comes out with the best lines.
For those of you who don't know, an EDP is an Emotionally Disturbed Person.
The other night, Roc encountered an EDP who insisted on screaming at him, "Martha Stewart is nothing but a self-absorbed whore...(pause, breath)...WHO BAKES CUPCAKES!!"
I must say I think this one takes the (cup) cake.
