Julian was tall, dark, and handsome personified. I was nineteen years old when I met him, and I can remember like it was yesterday falling head over heels in love with this boy/man. I always used to say this, but it about summed it up: if I could have painted a picture (at the time) of what I thought a perfect guy would be like...I would have painted him.
He was intense. Everything was over-the-top and exciting when we were together. I fell hard.
Within six months, we were engaged.
