That very first date, I dove into the Holy Trinity: I asked him about Religion, Politics, and The New York Yankees. Like I said, I wasn't into wasting anyone's time.
We held similar opinions on several things, and we just clicked. I definitely liked him.
Keep in mind that Roc was not a cop then, so we started seeing each other pretty much every weekend and when we could during the week.
I was getting to the age where getting serious was a definite possibility, but I was also older and wiser, and I knew what I wanted out of life.
