And, of course, there are people who are utterly appalled by this, people who find facts inconvenient, and those same people are angry with the NYPD this morning, for killing "one of their young black boys." This kid's Aunt is actually cited as saying that she did not believe her nephew had a gun. Of course, you and I both know that statement to be simply ridiculous.

Not only was this kid out prowling the streets of the Bronx at 3AM on Sunday morning, but he had a prior record for attempted murder, and was seen ON VIDEO firing shots at his intended target as well as aiming his gun at the Police.

I find that the NYPD exercised extreme restraint in this incident, firing only one bullet, which in fact took this kid's life. Ignorant people on the street were quoted as saying: "They could have shot him in the leg, but the NYPD wants to kill people."

I can tell you for sure that's the first thing on my husband's mind when he suits up to go out on the streets of New York City and puts his life on the line. He's just dying to shoot someone. Actually, kill someone. He dreams about it on his meal break. How many 14-year-olds can he shoot today?

And that, friends, is sarcasm. If you don't get it, I can't help you. The same way I can't help this kid's Aunt.
