Catching up and RACING

Hello Loyal Followers!
I have been catching up on some things this morning, and for those of you who have been following me on Twitter, you know that I've been skewering the NYC Mayoral Candidates here and there, even though I haven't had a real chance to elaborate here.

So here goes: ANYONE---Republican or Democrat or Otherwise---who thinks they want to be my husband's boss needs to go on a ride-along with a member of the NYPD in one of Our City's toughest and most notoriously crime-ridden neighborhoods. I'll offer up the South Bronx...why not? My husband does that every night. If you prefer Brooklyn, how about a little tour of East New York? Then and only then can you have an opinion about Stop, Question AND POSSIBLY Frisk...or any other policy that you think you may know about on paper. Because if you want to be the Boss: perhaps you should know first-hand and real-time what the Members of New York's Finest go through on a daily basis.

On a far lighter note, I was recently approached by a representative for The Reebok Spartan Race with a deal for anyone in Law Enforcement who is looking to up their Fitness Game and enter a Race to end all Races...for those of you who have heard about the Spartan Race, but are not sure of the details, feel free to click here:
http://spartanracemedia.com/

They have one of the largest race registration discount programs for U.S. Military service members and government first responders.

There is a URL I've been offered to share with any non-military readers which will generate a code for 15% off any Spartan Race - http://bit.ly/spartanwarrior

So check it out! I have a couple of friends who have done this race and they still say that it was a great day, and for some...a game-changer in their fitness endeavors.
