Batkid

Did any of you hear about the Crime-Fighting Crusader out in San Francisco this past week? When I saw "Batkid" trending on Twitter, I honestly didn't give it a second glance. I figured it was some new Hollywood trick to stir up interest in the next Batman installment of movies.
Au contraire! It was, in fact, a fabulous story about a kid from California who was granted his wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation: to help fight crime in San Francisco as his favorite SuperHero; in full costume no less.
Apparently, Batkid got the call from San Francisco Police Chief Greg Suhr to come in and help out, fighting crime in San Francisco. (Snarky Side Note: God knows they need it...the last time I visited SanFran, I was both mugged---I kid you not---and appalled by the lack of police presence!) The entire City rallied around this kid as he went off to participate in crime-fighting capers. Shout out to Make-a-Wish, San Francisco PD, and all those who made a little boy's dream come true.
