I just finished reading a great book entitled Lost December by Richard Paul Evans. It was an emotional journey; a great metaphor for the timeless Prodigal Son story, and timely in so many ways. That said, there are strategically placed diary excerpts written by the protagonist, peppered throughout the book. One that really spoke to me seems fitting for this turn of the page, from 2011 to 2012.
On the calendar, all days look the same, but they do not carry the same weight.
