"We had a call for a...raccoon."
"A what?" I could barely hear him.
"A ______ raccoon!"
"An ambitious raccoon?!"
"A VICIOUS RACCOON!"
"Oh." My first thought was, in the Bronx? My next: An ambitious raccoon? 
I told him what I thought he said and we both laughed. Hard.
