Thanks Pat Lynch

Last night, I caught a quick sound bite from Pat Lynch, the NYPD's PBA President---coming out of the courtroom after the verdict was read for slain cop Peter Figoski.
“We are sickened by the fact that the jury fell for this killer’s lies,” fumed Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association president Pat Lynch. He went on to call the killer a clown, and his frustration was obvious as he was asked to comment on the case.

"For Lamont, this was a best-case scenario,” said defense attorney James Koenig. “The jury found he did not intend to kill a police officer.”
After the verdict, Pride smiled and mouthed a few words to his brother as he was led out of the courtroom.

REALLY?!?!?!

The sonofabitch SMILED? Because his life was spared? Because the Jury was too stupid to see that his act was intentional? This piece of garbage shot Officer Figoski IN THE FACE.

That was not a WHOOPS sort of moment. I think it's safe to say that Mr. Pride is very lucky that he was not on trial for shooting my husband, because if you bundled up all the Pat Lynch Fury in the Universe...it would not come close to what I would feel after this slap-in-the-face verdict.

Either way, thanks Mr. Lynch. You speak for those of us who are sitting on the sidelines, praying for justice.
